Alister Browne reviews Fearless at stuff.co.nz:

‘This handsome volume, the latest in the centenary history programme series, amply lives up to the promise of the hyperbole in the subtitle.

The author, a Massey University historian, goes to some lengths from the outset to establish that until now there has been no single book-length study of this country's contribution to the 1914-18 air war – it’s what he calls an “incredible” situation when you look at the copious literature on what we did in the air during World War II.’
