Last night’s online New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults were a ray of sunshine. And for us, that ray shone even brighter when we learned that #Tumeke! by Michael Petherick had won the Best First Book Award. Our warmest congratulations to Michael Petherick.
#Tumeke! was published under the Annual Ink imprint, run by the visionary Kate de Goldi and Susan Paris. We are thrilled to partner with Annual Ink and we loved working on the book with them, Michael, and designer Marcus Thomas.
